Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy (/sɛ́/ /gɒ̌mæ/ [jealous] [nut]) is a subtropical Town located in the Mawtḩī Zár Provence of the Kingdom of Hobben.

The name Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy is derived from the Goblin language, as Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy was founded by Gèsî, who was culturaly Hobgoblin.

Overview

Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1246, by Gèsî. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy was built using the conventions of Hobgoblin durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy is buildings folow an organic layout of spacious flagstone streets whihch gives the town a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy's failry decent fortifications has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Right off the bat Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Somehow this town has come into quite a lot of wealth, and recently from the looks of things. This wealth has brought the town nothing but neurosis, if you can believe your eyes. Everyone acts as if you’re out to take a piece of them. Every door is locked and every window barred. Efforts are made to make you feel welcome, but only in the public areas of the town, particularly the market.

There’s a relatively new religion in Ga̋w Gaw̌mē Vǖy which is rapidly gaining power. It might be a sectarian offshoot of a major faith, the unique product of a new prophet, or an outside faith backed by wealthy and powerful foreign supporters. Depending on the demands made on believers, the new faith may be a matter of concern only to the existing clergy, or it might be a major flashpoint for conflict in the community.
